Tuesday night, I was invited to a wreath making party, courtesy of Mari's sister-in-laws - Karla and Diane. There were a few of us bloggers there - Nancy, Cheri and Laura. I have never done this before so I wasn't sure how it would go. It was great fun. Thanks to a lot of help from Diane, my wreath turned out pretty good. Us "sisters" arrived at early bird time, thus we were able to complete our wreaths before supper time. We were treated to an exceptional meal of soups, sandwiches, little hot dogs and even dessert. Sorry I don't have pictures of the meal but my batteries were dying on my camera. This was so much fun, even though my hands were a little sticky and sappy by the time we were done. I can't wait till next year (if they decide we're allowed to come back). I'm keeping my eyes open for things to use in the future.
Mari and Nancy, before all the hard work began.
Karla and Diane, our hosts for the evening. Thanks you guys!
This was truly a lot of serious work.
My work in progress.
This is my finished wreath. Cheri will try to tell you that I stole all the red berries, but really, I just used what was mine. I do like that red bow - it truly compliments the red berries!
Here's Mari's finished wreath. She's got some nice gold stars in there. I'm thinking about adding some gold to mine next year.
Here is Cheri's finished wreath. You can see that she kind of hogged all the pine cones from me.
I didn't get a picture of Laura's finished wreath because she got there later than we did. But I did get this great shot of her excitement and amazement in working.

Very nice recapitulation of our evening. (Mari helped me to spell that word) Ha Ha
It was a lot of fun and I think your wreath turned out great! (Even if it is a little shy on pinecones...) :)
Oh-oh-oh-oh-ohhhhhhhh!
The paybacks for those pictures are going to be so much fun to post!
You did steal all the red berries!!
It was a really fun night.
I can't wait for next year!! It was a ball and OF COURSE you're all invited again! We're already thinking of improvements... stay tuned...
I want to come to wreath night next year - i will talk while someone makes me a pretty wreath!
It waas fun. Your wreath turned out so good! Love that picture of Cheri!
I loved these! I can imagine you 3 sisters were real characters when you were young, lots of laughter, fun and pranks...you all look so joyous! These wreathes were great.
Love the three different posts on this fun night. It sure sounds like you had fun and great food, too!
Those are amazing! When you said you were making crafts, I expected something child-like with cotton, yarn, and glue or something. :) That's my world right now, anyway.
But those looked professional! Great job, everyone! And the pics were fun - I felt like I was there. Kinda. Without the food or sound effects. ;)
Those wreaths are so amazing ! I love them ! And I loved reading about them on each of you and your sisters blogs !! The photos you posted of each other are classic !
That looked like a lot of fun! Mari's Blog captured the yummy food. What great friends and what a nice project to take home to enjoy and remember the evening spent with sisters and friends. :)
