Are you thirsty? We've got grape juice!

Shaelyn and I spent some time today using up our grapes. I decided that today would be a good day to make grape juice. She helped to clean the grapes and measure them. We got 14 quarts of juice.(and they all sealed!!) Now we have to wait the 6 weeks before we can taste it.
Apparently, I didn't tire her out enough because I hear the vacuum cleaner going. She wanted to vacuum the living room. Am I a slave driver or what? I have never seen a child who wants to help out so much!

That looks so yummY! I was just telling my hubs about your grapevine last night! If I had a bigger back yard I might try that! Maybe I'll have Sugar do it and share!

Tell Shaelyn I need help too - I'm trying to get ready to go away and should be working, instead of playing on the computer.

That sounds sooo good. I'll have to try that recipe. My mom tells me that I used to be like that as a child. She said that I would always say to her "Let's do something". It always meant some kind of housecleaning or cooking. She had a black tile bathroom floor. I used to put so much soap in my bucket that the floor would be white when I got down mopping. She would always have to redo it, but she always let me "help". I love my Mom- she's the best!!

Yes, my husband is a GREAT guy!!! I thought Survivor was good. We drafted teams again- just like we did with Big Brother. It's going to be a fun season going head to head with my hubby. Wish me luck!!

Yummy looking grape juice !!

To answer your question ... an Icypole is a popcicle. People use Icypole as a generic term for popcicle but I noticed yesterday as I was buying some for the kids that this particular one ( which was just a frozen lemonade ) is actually called Icypole. Maybe it is sort of like how we, in the States, call tissues Kleenex ... even though that is just a brand of tissue !
