Labor Day - 2007

Today was the Labor Day holiday. Our family always has had a picnic lunch. This is from my Dad's side of the family. In one picture you can see him with 3 of his brothers. (One brother was out west on vacation). There is Uncle Purt, Uncle Lew, my Dad and Uncle Hank. He comes from a very large and close knit family. There were 9 kids total in his family and all live within the area. We've always enjoyed this picnic. Everyone takes a hot and cold dish to pass. We used to always have a game of softball but with everyone getting older, we haven't done that lately. If you want to see more pictures, check out my sister Mari's blog. She had her camera with her much more than me, so I'm sure she's got more pictures. It's still nice that we still get together in this busy world. We'll be seeing everyone again in December, when we have a Christmas party.

I love your new layout !! Looks great !! I just came from Mari's blog and it's neat to come to yours and see more photos of your amazing family event ! Looks like a blast !!

I cracked up at the comment you left about the stick figures ... about at least Shaeyln thinks you are thin ! ha ha. I totally relate ! Although, I think I'd be a bit on the unhealthy side if I was as thin as Jono draws me ! I'll have to lose some weight before he gets into drawing more "life like" drawings !! :)
