A Sister's Perspective

So Katelyn has moved back home but she still has 1 spring session class. This class lasts for three weeks and she drives in for it every day. Yesterday was her first day of having to drive in morning traffic. There is also a lot of construction going on. So I gave her directions for a different way to get on the highway. 15 minutes after she left, the phone rang. "Mom, what lane do I have to get in?" I'm telling her to stay where she normally would. "no, no by prairie - hurry my phone is going dead!" I told her to stay in the middle lane which would turn into the entrance ramp. "okay, goodbye"
Shaelyn has been sitting by the snack bar eating breakfast. After I hang up, she says,
"Let my guess; that was Katelyn and she's lost" I just about died. Anybody who knows Katelyn, knows that she is a bit "directionally challenged" I guess Shaelyn knows it too!

Made me laugh b/c I use that line to describe myself all of the time!!!! There really is such a thing as being "directionally challenged"!!! I hate driving to places I have never been before. And I really hate driving at night!
