I don't know if you've heard or not but Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter tragically died yesterday. Her brother was driving the SUV and accidentally hit her in their driveway. She was a 5 year old that they adopted from China. This really hit me hard, as Shaelyn is also 5 years old (and from China) I just took her into my bed this morning and hugged her. Please pray for this family and especially the poor brother that was driving.

I have been reading/hearing about this all morning. It is just heart-breaking. My heart especially goes out for their son. I can only imagine how hard my Zack would be on himself if it was him. That poor child is going to need a lot of prayers.
I just read about it too and it's devastating. I can not imagine what their family is going through. Any family would have a rough time but to be in the public eye and having so many people watching how they handle it must only add more pressure. Their family will definitely be in my prayers.
Dude - THAT is the worst - I will keep them in my prayers! you would think the words in you driveway mean safe - but it just takes a moment!
I have been praying for them all day long. I can't stop thinking about it. The loss they must be feeling and the guilt for the son is just unbearable.
It's just sooo sad.
I read about this and also posted it on my blog.
No matter what this causes all of us to look at our kids and remember why we are parents and the love and commitment we vowed to instill in their lives.
I'm so thankful this family has the Lord and many, many fellow Christians around the world praying for them at this time.
This is so sad - I'll be praying for all of them.
I have been praying for them.....I can't even imagine the sadness!
That is sooo tragic!! I will pray for them!!
